Is this a cold war or what? the tallest man in the world is an American! (or is it the only recorded fact?) Born in Alton, USA, Robert Wadlow grew to a height of a staggering 8.11 feet. He still remains the tallest man in the world. Unfortunately Wadlow died at a very young age (22). But the world will always remember the person who always walked tall among the little men in the world.
