Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is planning to release the film for Diwali on October 26th.

The latest news says that Trisha had been signed in to play the leading lady in Venkatesh’s latest film ‘Bodyguard’. This is a remake of 2010 Malayalam super hit romantic comedy entertainer directed by Siddique with Dileep and Nayantara as lead pair. This movie has been remade with Vijay and Asin as ‘Kavalan’ which also turned out to be a box office hit. Earlier we heard that movie titled as Ganga-The Bodyguard, but now it has been titled as Bodyguard.Telugu famous producer Bellamkonda Suresh has purchased the remake rights and is now in the process of making it. This movie will go on floors in April and will be directed by Gopichand Malineni of ‘Don Seenu’ fame. ‘Bodyguard’ will also be remade in Hindi with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Now the Venkatesh Bodyguard movie previously had many heroes for the lead role. First it was Balakrishna, then Ravi Teja, later it was Sunil. But now it is Venaktesh and this Bodyguard Telugu movie is a successful Malayalam remake and Salman Khan is doing Bodyguard in Hindi version.
