It seems social activist Swami Agnivesh is trying hard to go back into the group of Team Anna after his bitter fallout raising doubts over the genuine efforts of Anna-led civil society members in rooting out corruption.
Recently, after he made an exit from the popular reality show 'Bigg Boss', Swami Agnivesh has expressed his willingness to apologies to Anna and will try to bring everyone together in reaching out to people against corruption.
"I will say sorry if I have said or done anything wrong. I will try to meet him as soon as possible. With all respect and humility I will apologise to him at the earliest opportunity," Agnivesh said.
Answering to a question on Agnivesh at his native village of Ralegan Siddhi in Maharashtra, Anna Hazare on Saturday said that there was no harm in talking to social activist Swami Agnivesh.
"What is the harm in talking (to him), we will think about it," Hazare said.
The 72-year-old activist was criticised by many during Anna's indefinite fast at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi after a video leaked on the internet heard him talking to someone named “Kapil” (which many presumed was Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal), and asking for strong action on the way the movement was running.
Soon after the controversial video got leaked, doubts were raised over Agnivesh’s claim of supporting Hazare's cause which finally ended with fallout between the two.
When asked whether he would rejoin Anna’s movement, Agnivesh said he never left it and also stressed that he would like to talk to Baba Ramdev, Aruna Roy, Santosh Hegde and work towards regrouping on a large scale
