Aaaaahhhhhhh, too bad. It didn't go… Ash she likes it. Pity, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan couldn't sashay to Hyderabad for the music release of the Telugu version of 'Endhiran'. Blame it on a bout of high viral fever!
Says a close source, "Ash panicked because a lavish function had been planned at Hyderabad, wherein Chiranjeevi was to be the chief guest. Besides, Rajinikanth had called up Ash personally, requesting her to come. But since she had burning viral fever, her doctor advised her to take rest in Mumbai."
Abiding admirers of Ash, however, were a bit appeased when a recorded message of hers was played for the crowd that had gathered to see her. Not to mention, that there were profuse apologies from Ash to both South super icons for her inability to show up in the (celeb) flesh.
Apparently, hubby Abhy and ma in law Jaya Bachchan, together the medico, insisted that Ash stay put in Mumbai and give the tuneful event a miss.
Regrets Ash in a tabloid quote, "I was so looking forward to being in Hyderabad. But due to high fever, the doctor insisted that I stay home and rest."
