Will Smith's son has become the highest paid child star in Hollywood - earning a staggering £2m from his role in The Karate Kid. Although just 12 years old, Jaden Smith received the bumper payday thanks to the box office success of the film. He was paid a reported salary of $1m (£600,000) as an 'up front' fee to star in a remake of the 1984 movie. It was only the young actor's third film, but his first starring role alongside Jackie Chan. According to celebrity website TMZ, his management had also negotiated a share of the eventual profits of the film. With The Karate Kid film taking more than $150m (£100m) at the box office, the young actor received another $2m(£1.3m) bonus. The website estimates that other perks signed into Jaden's contract would have resulted in a payday of over $3m (£2m). As well as starring in the film he also sang the theme song Never Say Never alongside teen superstar Justin Bieber. Jaden's seven-figure salary makes him by far the highest paid of any of the young actors currently in Hollywood. Although the film was released in 2010 when Jaden was 12 he had begun filming at the age of 10. The young actor began his career with a small part in his father's 2006 film The Pursuit Of Happyness. With his younger sister, Willow, they have established careers with the blessing of their parents Will and Jada Pinket Smith. As well as acting, Jaden has forged a career as a rap artist and his 10-year-old sister had a No 2 hit in the UK with Whip My Hair.

Shia LaBoob lacks pecs-appeal
Shia LaBeouf might want to check his water supply after flashing what appeared to be a boob during a visit to a petrol station. The Transformers actor, 24, pulled up his T-shirt as he stopped off to fill up his truck in Los Angeles, but what was revealed looked more like a female breast than a manly pec. It was a moment reminiscent of JLS members Marvin and Aston, when Shia pulled up his top to wipe his mouth. Maybe all the hours he's been spending at the gym have caused his chest to grow at an irregular rate. The actor strutted through the petrol station with his slicked-back hairstyle, like David Beckham's recent image overhaul, seemingly inspired by the fifties. Shia has now finished filming on the third Transformers movie, with the film due to hit the big screen next month.
Co-star Mikaela Baines, who replaces Megan Fox's character, plays Shia's love interest and, judging by the recently released trailer, they have an action-packed time together.

Newlyweds LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian couldn't stop smiling as they stepped out for lunch together, a week after their surprise wedding. The couple, who were married in front of just 40 guests at their seafront home in Malibu, last week, held hands as they headed inside the King's Fish House, in Calabasas, California. Country singer LeAnn, 28, showed off her slender frame in white denim shorts, a denim shirt and a bikini top while her actor husband wore a casual T-shirt and jeans. "Eddie and I are overwhelmed by the amount of lovely well-wishes," LeAnn wrote on Twitter account after the ceremony. "We are blessed and ... I'm Mrs Cibrian!!!!! So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you." The star happily flashed her three rose gold wedding bands, designed to symbolise Eddie and his sons Mason, seven, and four-year-old Jake. The bands featured rose cut diamonds, and were designed by LeAnn's childhood friend, jeweller Brent Polacheck of Polacheck's jewellers. 'From the very beginning, LeAnn was very expressive about the importance and symbolism of three bands,' Polacheck tells People magazine.
