The makers of TV reality show Bigg Boss 5 have roped in former South African cricketer, Jonty Rhodes, 42. “His entry in the show is confirmed. Jonty has some business plans in India so he thought it was a good idea to be on a reality show here and connect with the people,” says a source close to him.
Jonty is not the only foreigner to be associated with the show. Latin singing sensation Shakira, too, has confirmed her participation in the show. Boxer Mike Tyson, who was last seen in The Hangover 2, is also reportedly going to be part of the show.
Kites’ leading lady Mexican actor Barbara Mori will be sharing the house with him. Incidentally, the Mexican actor has been approached to participate in the show for the second time around. She was approached last year as well, but everything had to be dropped due to the fee she had demanded then. This season, she’s likely to settle for less and will be on the show for a couple of weeks at least.
The show will be compared by Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt and is set to go on air in October.
