He raised the bar with his risqu? role in the movie Delhi Belly (DB) and showed audiences his wry humour and that he's quite the kisser.
Now, actor Imran Khan is taking a leap from the intrepid journalist in DB, to a small-town boy who falls for his brother's bride in his next, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (MBKD).
However, making the transition wasn't easy, admits Imran. "Initially, I had doubts about whether I was making the right choice, but I loved the way director Ali Abbas Zafar pitched the film. It is heavily inspired by the director's life. He is a Dehradun boy and won't compromise on his morals," he says, adding, "MBKD is not like DB. While DB was underplayed, MBKD is loud. The style of humour is different."
