Tusshar turns clever for his romcom HUM TUM SHABANA

In HUM TUM SHABANA where Minissha Lamba plays the title role of Shabana, Tusshar plays a Manager who is just coming up the corporate ladder in an event management company. Enjoying a different setting for himself after playing a street-smart youngster in majority of his outings so far, Tusshar is happy that with HUM TUM SHABANA he would be able to showcase his mischievous side in a classy way.

"That's right, I am playing someone who is quite proper, sharp and can't be taken for a ride. At the core of it all though he is pretty much a crook who is quite clean and methodical in his act," laughs Tusshar, "He knows how much to say, what to say and what not to say. He also knows how to sweet talk his way out of difficult situations. You would never see him getting anxious even if things aren't going in his favor. And that's because he knows how to deal with them in a clever manner as he would wait for his time to come before he strikes."

Though Tusshar is synonymous with his comic acts, it would be after as good as two years that he would be back at doing a comedy where he gets to play a speaking part as well. This means that since the release of LIFE PARTNER (2009), it would only be with HUM TUM SHABANA where he would have some vocal comedy coming into play.



"Can you believe that?'questions Tusshar with mock amusement, "Even though last year I had to my credit the biggest comic success of my career, GOLMAAL 3, I didn't have a word to say there. Then I did films like SHOR IN THE CITY (drama) and LOVE U...MR. KALAKAAR (love story) which belonged to altogether different genres. Thankfully in HUM TUM SHABANA my director Sagar Ballary didn't ask me to go goonga else I would I have really revolted."
